On June 27, the China-Saudi Enterprises (Suzhou) Investment Promotion Conference was held in Changshu. Mayor Wu Qingwen met with a delegation of guest representatives, including Khaled Almana, Chairman of Investment and Partnerships of Saudi Arabia’s Almana Group. The two sides held in-depth discussions on enhancing cooperation in economic, trade, investment, technological innovation, and cultural exchanges, aiming to achieve higher-quality and deeper two-way opening as well as mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

The China-Saudi Enterprises (Suzhou) Investment Promotion Conference was hosted by Suzhou Land Group. Attendees included business representatives from Saudi Arabia and other Arab regions, as well as representatives from many well-known domestic enterprises. The conference focused on Saudi (Middle Eastern capital) investment in China and the "sailing abroad" of domestic enterprises.
