On March 7, A consignment of goods declared by Suzhou Liying Network Technology co. LTD successfully went through the general export, which marks the formal initiation of Chsngshu’s general export of cross-border e-commerce.

General export refers to situation that qualified e-commerce enterprises or platforms first connect to the customs, or oversea individuals first complete of cross-border online shopping, then those enterprises or platforms send e-orders, payment documents, e-waybills, etc.to the customs. Ultimately, goods would be shipped abroad through mail and express delivery after enterprises or agents submit declarations to the customs.

On the afternoon of that day in Changshu Free Trade Zone B, a batch of commodities from Suzhou Liying, after being sorted by X-ray scanner and sealed in the customs’ special mailbags, were soon delivered to U.S.

With the launching of general export, enterprises not only save time and labor, also benefit more from the bonus of national policies. Before that, for the smoother implementation of “general export”, Changshu customs coordinated the construction of facilities and the connection of system, including the reconstruction of supervision area for cross-border operation, the registration of enterprises and information registration reported to Nanjing customs, the debugging of relevant systems, and the authorization of operation personnel, etc..
