Changshu Port now opens a general cargo line heading for Korea from Changshu City, which makes the total twenty-three for lines of the same type in the Port. 

    This new line contracts to ship steel, chemicals, equipment and other cargoes in five to six liners via Xinghua Quay of Changshu Port and Yangtze River Service Quay. This year, Changshu Port Office centering the mission of upgrading the productivity and soft power of service puts efforts in creating a superior environment for businesses and shipping, and encourages the enterprises to strengthen group contracting of goods and open new lines. This line facilitates the shipping services provided by agent companies to cargoes and ships at the port. In this way, costs of shipping companies are remarkably reduced and meanwhile the Port is more capable of agglomeration and group contacting, which builds a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Changshu Port.
